Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is an aesthetic-purpose medical process developed by Dr. Michel Pistor. Mesotherapy is applying the different medical containing substances to the skin and subcutan with the microinjection technique.


What Is the Usage Areas of Mesotherapy?


1- Cellulite Treatment

The substances injected subcutaneously by mesotherapy regulate blood flow and lymphatic circulation, reduce the fat deposits and fix the scleroderma in the cellulite areas. Successful results are obtained for the cellulite treatment by mesotherapy in 4-10 weeks, as once a week. If the patient keeps that with diet, the results may be permanent.

2- Regional Lipoidosis

Mesotherapy accelerates destruction of the fatty tissue in the injection area. However, the person under treatment should absolutely obey the diet.

3- Skin Rejuvenation (Face Mesotherapy – Mesolifting)

Sun damage and collagen loss, by combining, break down fullness and appearance of the skin. By mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids are injected in the subcutan. They stimulate the collagen synthesis in the skin; contribute to rejuvenation, tightening and brightness formation. 6-8 session treatment as weekly applications is performed.

4- Fracture and Scar Treatment

Tissue regeneration accelerates with the repeating mesotherapy processes to be applied in scarred area. 8-10 session mesotherapy in 1-2 week intervals can be performed in these areas.

5- Alopecia

Alopecia is regional or complete decrease or destruction of the hair by shedding. Especially in some type alopecia, quite good results are gotten. According to the patient’s problem, 4-10 sessions are performed as weekly or biweekly sessions.


For Whom the Mesotherapy Is Not Suitable?

  • Pregnant women
  • Persons who have a stroke
  • Persons who have insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus
  • Cancer patients
  • Persons who have blood coagulation disorder
  • Persons who have heart disease requiring multiple drug.

What Are the Side Effects of Mesotherapy?

Temporary bruise, oedema and rashes may occur in the injection area.


When Does Response to the Treatment Start?

The response changes according to the seriousness of disease and the body structure. However in general, it starts to get result in 2-3 sessions.
